Achieving more together: Rosenxt supports regional associations
Donation of over €6,000 to THW Helfervereinigung Nordhorn, Rettungshundestaffel Lingen/Emsland, Nordhorner Tafel, and other social initiatives
Rosenxt is supporting clubs and organizations in the region with more than €6,000. The money was collected at the technology group's Christmas party and has now been handed over to the Nordhorn Technical Relief Agency (THW), the Lingen/Emsland rescue dog unit, and the Tafel Nordhorn.
Rosenxt stands for technology, progress, and innovation - while also taking responsibility for the common good. “This year, we are therefore supporting three social organizations in the region with our Christmas donation,” says Dirk van Vinckenroye, General Manager of Rosenxt. “During the Christmas party in December 2025, our colleagues were able to decide which association would receive what share of the donation, thus making a personal statement of social commitment.”
As a technology company, Rosenxt focuses on the use of technology in particularly demanding environments. The situation is similar at the Technical Relief Service in Nordhorn. From lifting bags and generators to powerful water pumps, light towers, boats, and cold weather and crisis equipment, the team masters operations even in extreme weather, floods, or rough terrain. The volunteers regularly train in the use of special equipment so that they can provide fast, safe, and efficient assistance in an emergency – whether in the event of major damage, flooding, or demanding logistical tasks. The THW Helpers' Association Nordhorn supports the THW in its work.
In addition, another large donation goes to the Tafel Nordhorn: with around 240 volunteers, it provides valuable help by collecting surplus food from supermarkets and restaurants and distributing it to people on low incomes in Nordhorn, Schüttorf, and Wietmarschen. In addition, two social department stores offer inexpensive clothing, furniture, and everyday items. A café, a bicycle repair shop, and special offers for children and young people promote community spirit and also give families in difficult situations new perspectives.
With the Lingen/Emsland rescue dog team, the third Christmas donation once again goes to an organization that works with animal assistance in very challenging environments. As part of disaster control, the volunteer members search for missing children, elderly people, and people with dementia with specially trained dogs. The emergency services are experienced dog handlers and their certified dogs and are on call 24/7, 365 days a year. All operations - whether searching for people, debris, or areas - are free of charge. The commitment and training require years of practice and passion.
Commitment even before Christmas
By mid-December, more than 50 gifts had already been distributed to children in the region. Together with the Grafschaft Bentheim Child Protection Association and the Ems-Vechte Catholic Women's Social Service (SkF), Rosenxt employees fulfilled the children's wish lists and ensured that children from families with limited means could also enjoy a happy Christmas. Rosenxt employees also collect bottle caps from drinks and donate them to a non-profit organization that supports social projects.
"Our vision is to create prosperity across generations – through innovations and their application that generate real economic benefits. Organizations such as THW, Tafel, Rettungshundestaffel, SkF, and Kinderschutzbund demonstrate the value of dedicated work for our social coexistence. With our donation, we want to make a small contribution to ensuring that this important work can continue in the future, thereby strengthening social prosperity," summarizes Dirk van Vinckenroye.
