Rosenxt opens “nxt generation” company kindergarten in Wietmarschen-Lohne
With a symbolic ribbon cutting, representatives from Rosenxt, the architectural partners and local political leaders officially opened the new company kindergarten nxt generation. Around 70 guests from politics, public administration, educational partners and Rosenxt attended the ceremony in Wietmarschen-Lohne. The strong attendance underlines the importance this project holds for the region and for Rosenxt’s long-term development.
The new kindergarten is a key element of Rosenxt’s long-term site and talent strategy. It strengthens the compatibility of work and family life and reflects the company’s ambition to remain an attractive employer for people working in demanding environments. After only one year of construction, the facility now offers space for more than 30 children from infancy to primary school age. While the kindergarten primarily serves the children of Rosenxt employees, it is also intentionally open to the wider community. Around one third of the available places are reserved for families from the surrounding municipalities.
For Hermann Rosen, Chairman of the Board at Rosenxt, the opening of a company kindergarten is "one of the happiest decisions I have made," as he said in his speech. Because offerings like these are essential for making our workplaces attractive. This aspiration is reflected in the kindergarten’s concept, which offers extended opening hours, minimal closing days and a modern educational approach based on a situational method, STEM learning and bilingual education. Children are introduced early to both German and English, which provides an important foundation for an increasingly interconnected world.
The municipality of Wietmarschen-Lohne also sees kindergarten as an important investment in the future. Mayor Manfred Wellen emphasized: "Without us humans, it will not work in the future either. We still need many bright minds. And here, many young people will experience many great things and may ultimately set many things in motion that will help make our world a little better." This environment fosters curiosity every day, which is also a central value at Rosenxt as a technology-driven company.
For Nancy Terwey, Managing Director of nxt generation gGmbH, the new facility reflects what matters at Rosenxt: responsibility, togetherness and foresight. Kindergarten director Doris Fühner added in her speech that the children can now grow up "in an environment where they can discover their strengths together."
With the opening of nxt generation, Rosenxt is demonstrating that technological progress and social responsibility belong together, both today and for the generations to come.
